The man receives a sentence of 85 years to arrive at Westlake High Teens with car

A camroat man who stabbed a Walmart employee and rose his car in a group of high school students, killing one and wounding several others, in an self -proclaimed effort for causing massive violence was sentenced this week to 85 years of life imprisonment, authorities said.

Ventura County prosecutors say that Austin Allen Eis, 26, carried out a series of “calculated attacks” on April 18, 2023, which began with a stabbing in the Simi Valley and culminated with EIS hitting their car in adolescents who were standing outside Westlake High School. Wesley Welling, 15, first year at high school, died in the attack.

EIS, a former Westlake High School student, then admitted that he pointed to adolescents for personal frustration and a desire to commit massive violence, prosecutors said. Text messages and communications showed that it had violent and extremist beliefs for years and mass murders admired, prosecutors said.

In February, Wesley's parents saw how EIS, showing little or no emotion, declared themselves guilty of 10 positions for serious crimes, including first degree murders, premeditated attempt, assault with a deadly and false gun imprisonment for violence.

During the two -day sentence hearing this month, Wesley's mother, Kelly, went directly to EIS, telling him that no nightmare is worse than knowing that his face is the last thing his son could have seen.

“You stole from my son and the world of a child who would have become an incredible man,” he said in court, according to a press release. “At age 15, he was already a man than ever.

EIS is considered a youth criminal and will be eligible for a probation hearing after 24 years, said prosecutor Amber Lee to Times.

Lee, a high -level deputy district prosecutor, said prosecutors decided to accept the supplication of saving victims and their trauma families of testifying mortal assaults during a long judgment.

“These families have suffered indescribable pain,” Lee said in a statement on Tuesday. “This prayer brings purpose without forcing them to revive their trauma in the trial.”

The violent uproar covered three locations, 30 miles and a couple of hours on the afternoon of April 18, 2023.

Eis Pepper surrendered and stabbed a Walmart health in Simi Valley before assaulting a second employee and trying to drag her, prosecutors said. He forced the entrance to his family's Camarillo house, where he threatened several people with a knife.

Then he drove Thousand Oaks 20 minutes and hit his Toyota Camry in a group of standing students from Westlake High School around 3:40 PM Wesley was killed and a 15 -year -old girl, a 14 -year -old girl and a 16 -year -old girl were seriously injured, according to the Sheriff's office of the Ventura County.
