Judge Judy Sheindlin, also known as “Judge Judy,” joined Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on the campaign trail in New Hampshire and praised the former South Carolina governor's skills and mental acuity over those of her rivals before of Tuesday's primaries.
In an interview with CNN's Dana Bash, Sheindlin questioned the mental acuity and age of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, saying, “Nikki Haley is doing better. She's young, she's vital, she's focused, she's got brainpower.” She “She is measured. She does not allow herself to be irritated by bullies.”
“If you listen to her at the United Nations, she commanded respect. Well, that's what I'm looking for again in a president. Someone who commands respect, I think she has it. I know Donald doesn't and I know Joe Biden doesn't. I think so. That's why I traveled 1,700 miles here,” Sheindlin told Bash.
Sheindlin, who endorsed Haley earlier this month, told Bash that Trump and Biden “wouldn't know a Houthi from a salami.”
“Neither of those two men should be president for another four years. Joe Biden is older now… But I know he's my age… I run a big business. I'm the matriarch of a family of over 20 people. “I drink decisions that affect hundreds of people every day. I need a nap in the afternoon. Also Joe Biden, probably two,” she said.
He joked to Bash that he doesn't support Haley just because she's a woman: “I'd support her if she were a frog.” She noted that the former South Carolina governor is “capable” for the presidency.
