The international students of the United States have filed a federal demand in Georgia alleging the termination of their students' visas

International students from all over the United States have joined to present a federal demand in Georgia accusing immigration and application of the United States Customs at the illegally end of their students' visas.

The 17 students alleged that the termination did not have due process and used the student and exchange visiting information system (sevis) to strip their legal status even though they continued to comply with the visa terms.

The lawsuit appoints the United States prosecutor PAM Bondi, the Secretary of National Security Kristi Noem and the interim director of ICE Todd Lyons as accused.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs say that after the vague references to visa revocations, in many cases, students were “identified in criminal record verifications”, although there are no formal charges, condemnations or deportable crimes.

A last year student at Georgia Tech was notified days before graduation despite the fact that his only legal registration implies a dismissal traffic.

“ICE's own orientation confirms that the revocation of visas is not, in itself, a cause for the termination of the student's sevis record. Rather, if the visa is revoked, the student is allowed to follow his course of study at school, but when leaving, the registration of sevis ends and the student must obtain a new visa of a consulate or onslaught abroad before returning to the United States,” the United States, the United States.

Currently, lawyers seek a temporary restriction order to restore students' sevis records and restore their legal status.

“ICE has created chaos since schools have tried to understand what is happening and do everything possible to inform and advise students,” he said. “The plaintiffs have an interest of constitutionally protected property in their Sevis Registry,” according to the lawsuit.

“No plaintiff has been put in the elimination procedures,” says the complaint. “Ice cannot misuse Sevis to avoid the law, strip status students and expel them from the country without a process.”
