The fraud risks expert says that the problem “is not political”, welcomes Doge's efforts


The expert in fraud risks Linda Miller was cautiously optimistic in an interview that was issued on Sunday about the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), although she emphasized that the need to stop government fraud is not political.

“I really believe that fraud is not a political problem. These are mom and apple cake things,” Miller told “60 minutes.” “We all agree that the bad actors should not steal dollars from US taxpayers. People like me and people in the community of application of the law, we see the adversary, not as Republicans or Democrats, but as the foreign state-state and the rings of organized crimes.”

She added: “And I think there are opportunities for Doge to save a lot of significant money, if they focus on the right things, if they focus on real fraud.”

However, Miller clarified that the founder of Dege and Doge, Elon Musk, tended to equate “fraud” with “unnecessary expense”, which said they were two separate problems.
