After a controversial not called during a play that involves Caitlin Clark on Saturday, the head of the fever of Indiana, Stephanie White, criticized the referees of the WNBA for her trade in fever games this season.

In a complaint after the loss of 90-88 of fever before the freedom of New York, White described the “atrocious” arbitration.

Natasha Cloud in New York contacted Clark during the final possession of the game, but the referees did not blow the whistle.

“I thought he hurried. I think it's quite atrocious what has been happening to us in recent games,” White said about Clark. “The lack of respect at this time for our team has been quite incredible. Therefore, it is disappointing, you know, that it does not go both ways, or has not gone in both directions.”

White also acknowledged that the League has an established system for the teams to communicate disagreements with the referee's decisions, but questioned whether the system works.

“There is a system to make sure we can send things and communicate our complaints, so to speak. I don't know if I have the feeling that the system works,” he said.

Clark refused to give his opinion about the call of the referee about the final play.

“I don't know. I have to go back and look,” Clark said about the call.

During the game, Clark immediately looked for officials a foul and quickly began shouting them when he realized that no fault was received. His teammate, Sophie Cunningham, also approached the referees to protest the lack of a whistle.

A repetition showed the cloud pushing his shoulder towards the moment the ball released. But the referees did not blow the whistle, and the game ended there.

The fever fell to 2-2 in the season and has been at the wrong end of a series of controversial decisions of the officials in their first four games of the season.
