The 80's star, Kelly Lebrock, is reflecting on why he left Hollywood abruptly in the height of his fame.

The 65 -year -old actress launched her modeling career when she was 16 and then rose to stardom with main papers in “The Woman in Red” of 1984 and “Weird Science” of 1985. In 1987, Lebrock married the Steven Seagal Action star, with whom he later co -starred in the success of 1990 “Hard To Kill”. The former couple welcomed three children before their highly publicized divorce in 1996.

After his separation, Lebrock left the entertainment industry and moved to a ranch near Santa Barbara, California, where he raised his children. During a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Lebrock recalled his decision to flee the Center for Care for a simpler life.

“I escaped. I didn't get away,” Lebrock said. “I escaped.”

She continued: “Oa Hollywood never impressed myself. I never really cared. And I did the right thing.”

“You know, I could always return to a race, but I couldn't come back with my children,” Lebrock added. “And that was the most important thing for me was raising my children, because I grew up in the boarding school. At five o'clock [years old]They sent me far. And I didn't want to have that story for my children. “

The Native of New York, who was also raised in London, and Seagal are parents of his daughter Annnaliza, 38, Dominic's son, and his daughter Arissa, 32. While talking with Fox News Digital, Lebrock shared an update about the life of his children now. He pointed out that Annnalizo works as an attached Sheriff in Siskiyou County, which is in the northwest of California. Lebrock said Dominic is currently in Russia, where “a film production just begins.”

“And I have my lovely younger daughter who can do what he wants,” Lebrock said about Arissa, with whom he co -starred in the 2017 reality show “Growing Up Supermodel.”

In addition to modeling and acting, Arissa has followed a career in professional struggle.

“She is brilliant in everything,” Lebrock added. So I'm proud of them. I have three wonderful grandchildren. “

Meanwhile, Lebrock said he has continued enjoying his quiet life in his ranch in southern California Rural.

“I have a group of animals, which is what I was doing,” he said. “I was taking care of chickens, sheep and goats and horses and dogs and cats.”

“Then, I really escaped,” Lebrock said. “I mean, the most difficult thing for me is not to put on makeup or try to look good. He is trying to get those hairs out of my chin. And it is a completely new world. What can I say? But I am excited about my future. I am developing a product of Kelly Care, which will help people with their wounds for their pets and issues.

Although Lebrock said it was his divorce from Seagal that caused his Hollywood departure, he explained that he really never felt comfortable in the industry.

“The crowd is very ugly, and I didn't want any part of that,” he said. “I am really quite shy, and I am a home of homes. I spent the two years of Covid completely alone, practically in the desert. And you learn a lot about you when you are not in the noise.”

“And yes, life is good now,” Lebrock added.

Kelly Le Brock Modeling

Lebrock was one of the best models in the industry in the 1970s before embarking on his career as an actor. Shortly after his stars shift in “Weird Science”, Lebrock became the face of a beauty campaign for the Pantene Haircare line and appeared in a shampoo commercial in which he delivered the now iconic line “I don't hate me because I am beautiful.”

In a 2012 interview with Allure magazine, Lebrock recalled that he was initially uncomfortable when he said the line and almost left the audition.

“I used to be so insecure and aware of himself that if someone looked at me, I would wear red,” Lebrock told The Outlet. “So, although it was obviously ironic, it was really difficult to say: 'Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.'”

During his interview with Fox News Digital, Lebrock explained that he has gained more confidence as he aged.

“I never thought it was beautiful,” he shared. “I feel more beautiful now than me. And that's sad. Youth is wasted in young people, that's safe.”

Looking back, Lebrock said adapting to his life in “The Wilderness” was not so difficult.

“I grew up in a very isolated area, the five, six years of my life, playing in fields and disregarded by the parents,” he recalled. “And that saved my soul. I think that when you can be in nature and be without people, then you know yourself and you feel comfortable.”

However, Lebrock explained that the ranch's life was not exempt from dangers.

“There are mountain lions and large rattlesnakes and tarantulas and bears, but the lions are great,” he said. “And the last time I saw one, I ran home on my horse, and I have not been in that area since then, because they are quite large.”

Lebrock told Fox News Digital that he was discouraged by today's culture, who said he was more disconnected from nature. He pointed out how the increasingly dominant role of technology in daily life has limited human interaction.

“I am very sad for our society,” he said. “You enter an airport, you go to a restaurant, nobody is talking. Everyone is on their phones. It's like a disease. It's like a drug. And I don't want any part of that. It's simply confusing for me.”

Despite permanently moving away from Hollywood, Lebrock has returned to occasional incursions in his former profession.

Over the years, he has appeared in films, more recently assuming the role of Donna, a afflicted mother and ex -wife of the former gangster, in the comedy of 2021 “Tomorrow's Today”. He has also competed in reality shows, including “Celebrity Fit Club” and “Hell's Kitchen”.

This year, Lebrock and his co -star of “Weird Science” are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film.

Directed by John Hughes, the science fiction comedy inspired by Frankenstein followed the best teenage friends of Wyatt (Ilan Mitchell-Smith) and Gary (Anthony Michael Hall), who create his dream girl with the help of a computer.

Lebrock played the girl from her dreams called Lisa, who has the appearance of a model, the intelligence of Albert Einstein, the fashion sense of David Lee Roth, along with superpowers, including teleportation and time manipulation.

The actress remembered feeling some concern after she reached the set for the first time.

“It was just my second movie, and I had been filming for six weeks,” he said. “So, to be unknown to enter a film that has been filming so much with a tribe of people who were very intertwined, they were already good actors and all, that was a bit scary. It was like the first day in the boarding school.”

“And John Hughes was a child and an incredible human being,” he added. “And yes, the cast of characters speaks for themselves.”

Lebrock told Fox News Digital that he never imagined that “strange science” would become so iconic.

“You never think when you're doing something, what will happen,” he said. “You just want to do a good job and go home. No, you never know. And then, sometimes, you think something is going to be great, and falls into your butt. So yes, the opportunity is a good thing.”

Robert Downey Jr. also played a minor role in the movie. Lebrock recalled that the “Iron Man” star was a “full character” on the set.

“We never knew how big it was going to be and having such a small role in an iconic movie was interesting to see how it grew up and how he saved his life basically by being heterosexual,” he said. “That is a great story.”

While talking with Fox News Digital, Lebrock reflected on why the film continues to resonate with the public today.

“Because we have fun in those days,” he explained. “There were not all these complications that are here today. People really seemed how they looked. It was a fun and quiet period in life.”

“Where if we had chambers and smartphones in those days, we would all be arrested,” Lebrock added.
