The author of the 'original sin' reveals how the Biden team was surprised by the media coverage


The “original without” co -author, the newly published book on the mental and physical decline of former President Joe Biden, says that a Biden source admitted that they were surprised by what they could escape with respect to the coverage of the media.

“I had a conversation with someone,” said axios reporter Alex Thompson, co -author of the book with Jake Tapper of CNN, on News Nation now on News Nation. “This was after the elections while we reported this book. And this person said, listen, yes, we deserve the fault of X, Y, Z. We were hiding it. But this person also put me in the face, and said: 'Listen, the media also deserve some guilt. As if we are appeased on the things we could turn.”

The book, published on Tuesday by Penguin Press, analyzes the efforts made by those within the Biden Administration, members of Congress, Democratic Donors and celebrities, to hide the truth about the decline of Biden's mental and physical health.

Thompson said, in a sense, he believes that journalists did not do their job.

“I think the media in many ways were not skeptical enough and did not remember the lesson that they do in different degrees, but each White House resides,” he said.

After the Wall Street Journal published its explosive history in June 2024 on how some legislators began to question Biden's health, the debate on the subject became more heated.

The Wall Street Journal detailed the concern about Biden's decline, saying that he was “sliding,” he spoke so gently that some participants fought to listen to him, “he would make long pauses and closed their eyes enough for people to question if he had fallen asleep.

Author's new book Chris Whipple, “Uncharted: how Trump beat Biden, Harris and the probabilities in the wildest campaign in history,” said representative Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Said that Biden was decreasing before calling a story of Wall Street Journal in her cognitive decline.

According to Whipple's book, the former president of the house went to the White House in May 2024 for a prize ceremony and was “surprised by how much the president had aged.” He supposedly told a friend “that Joe Biden himself was not,” according to the book.

On Sunday, the diagnosis of Biden prostate cancer was announced, and his spokesman told Fox News days after the last time he received a blood analysis that the screens for prostate cancer were in 2014.
