Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce took his international pop tour to the next level this year when he appeared at Taylor Swift's Eras tour preview in London in June. Kelce walked out on stage wearing a top hat and black tailcoat. During the skit, Kelce held Swift in his arms as she appeared unconscious and then dropped her on a red couch.
But Kelce admits he feared leaving his girlfriend of about a year during the performance.
“I didn't want to drop her while I was carrying her on stage,” Kelce said during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show on Tuesday. “That would have been the most embarrassing thing I could have done, so carrying her to the bus was the hardest part.”

Swift even had reservations about letting Kelce complete the process of carrying her to the bus, he said. When Kelce was asked if Swift ever gave him any doubts about his trust in completing the process, he said, “Oh, sure.”
“There was definitely an extra bit of like, 'Are you sure you want to do this?'” Kelce said.
However, Swift took steps to ensure Kelce's role was minimized to avoid any major mistakes.
“Taylor knew that when the lights were on I was going to have fun, and she put me in a position where I didn't have to do much to make it a success. She put me in a very comfortable part of the show,” Kelce added.

Kelce has already had his share of vulnerable moments on Swift's concert tour this year. During a performance in Amsterdam in July, Kelce was spotted in a suite alongside Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes. There, Kelce was seen wiping away tears as they played a medley of songs on the piano that fans believe were dedicated to Kelce.
The relationship between the two has largely been defined by Swift's presence in Kelce's workplace until now.
Swift appeared in several Chiefs games last season, including the road playoff game at Kansas City and the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

During an interview in time Last year, Swift spoke out about the scrutiny he's received since attending many of Kelce's games.
“I don't know how they know what suite I'm in,” he said of photographers at games. “There's a camera like a half mile away, and you don't know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you on the stream, so I don't know if they're showing me 17 times or one.”
Swift added: “I'm just there to support Travis. I have no awareness that I'm being shown too much and upsetting some of the parents, Brads and Chads.”
