Nicky Katt, the character of the character known for his papers in “Dazed and Confused”, “Boston Public” and “Boiler Room”, died. He was 54 years old.
Katt's lawyer, John Sloss, the founder and partner of Sloss Law, confirmed the death of the actor to Fox News Digital, but did not provide additional details.
Born on May 11, 1970 in South Dakota, Katt released his career when he was a child, making his television debut in an 1980 episode of “Fantasy Island”.

Throughout the 80s, Katt made appearances in numerous television programs that include “chips”, “Father Murphy”, “Code Red”, “Herbie, The Love Bug”, “Voyagers!”, “Quincy, me”, “V”, “The Get Bear gang”, “The facts of life”, “Dear John” and “Town Buck”. “

After making his big screen debut in “Underground Aces” of 1981, Katt appeared in “Gremlins”, “The 'Bubbs”, “The Martians go home” and “sister act.”

Linklater and Katt returned to work together in “Suburbia” of 1996, “Waking Life” of 2001 and “2003 School of Rock”.
Katt played a hired killer in the 1999 criminal film by Steven Soderbergh “The Limey.” Katt worked again with Soderbergh when he portrayed an unidentified actor playing German dictator Adolf Hitler in the 2001 comedy drama of the director “Full Front”. The cast of the film's team included Catherine Keener, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts.

Katt and Soderbergh gathered again in 2013 for the biographical television film of the director “Behind The Candelabra”.
In another of Katt's most notable roles, he starred as Greg Weinstein Stockbroker along with Affleck, Vin Diesel and Giovanni Ribisi in the “Boilers Room” of 2000.

In 2002, Katt appeared the psychological thriller of Christopher Nolan in 2002 “Insomnia” and then played a member of the Swat team in the 2008 superhero movie of the director “The Dark Knight”.
