The boom seems to be linked to a Spacex dragon capsule that was re -entered the atmosphere, according to an X post of the Elon Musk space agency.
“Dragon will also announce his arrival with a brief sonic boom before splacing in the Pacific Ocean,” Spacex published approximately one hour before the boom was reported. The account said that the capsule should make its entrance around 10:44 pm

A sonic boom was heard in Los Angeles when a Spacex cargo ship illuminated the night sky.
Sonic Booms has become a source of dismay for the South Californians who live near the Vandenberg space force base in Santa Barbara County, where Spacex officials and the United States space force have recognized that their rocket and landing releases are causing regular dawn.
Last year, military officers rejected calls to reduce sonic AUGES from the Spacex rockets in the area, which have increased frequently. The Musk agency said it plans to launch more than 90 rockets from the base for 2026.
Residents in areas as far as Venice, West Hollywood, Highland Park, Ause Hills and Santa Clarita reported to feel and listen to the boom on Saturday.
