Selena Gomez and Emily Blunt took no chances this weekend after some lip-reading moments went viral.
The actresses posed together during the AFI Awards in Los Angeles on Friday, where both were honored after being selected in the Top 10 film and television lists, covering their mouths with their hands.
Gomez posted the photo to her Instagram Stories with the caption, “We won't talk lol,” poking fun at the fake drama created during the Golden Globes last weekend.
For Blunt, the “Oppenheimer” star, she and her husband John Krasinski came under scrutiny when people analyzed a video of the couple on the red carpet, trying to read their lips.

“I've seen this 500 times trying to convince myself he said something other than divorce,” reads a comment on the video, which was shared on TikTok.

Others thought it might have simply been a joke between the couple, and some even suspected they were talking about the cold, windy weather and hoping to get inside.
Representatives for Krasinski and Blunt did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment on the video.

As for Gomez, she was seen during the ceremony cuddling up with her best friend Taylor Swift, sparking speculation about what they were talking about.
