Roller coaster passengers trapped 100 feet in the air break down: video

Several passengers were trapped nearly 100 feet in the air on a roller coaster in Colombia on Wednesday when its high-octane ride broke down, terrifying footage shows.

The ride had just begun and was climbing a steep vertical incline when it got stuck, leaving passengers sitting anxiously with their seats facing the sky.

A distressing video shows six adults and a child trapped on the roller coaster, called Krater, just before reaching the top in Parque del Café, in Montenegro, west of Bogotá. The roller coaster train car is supposed to reach the top and then free fall through several twists, turns and turns.
