“Paramore” lead singer Hayley Williams took a moment during her band's concert at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday to criticize former President Trump.
Williams, who has criticized Republican politicians in previous appearances, lashed out at Trump in a furious onstage address and shouted at voters to “finally defeat” his agenda.
“You want to live in a dictatorship? Come out and vote,” the singer told the iHeartRadio crowd.

Wearing an outfit inspired by legendary “Blondie” singer Debbie Harry, Williams approached the film crew at the edge of the stage Friday night, got down on one knee and delivered her anti-Trump speech directly to the camera.
As the band behind her continued to play their song “Big Man, Little Dignity,” the singer warned of the threat of Project 2025, saying Trump’s agenda is to harm women and other minorities in the country.
“Project 2025 is Donald Trump's playbook for controlling and punishing women, the poor, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community. It's time for all Americans to come together and finally defeat Trump's agenda.”
Speaking louder, he continued: “And the only way to do that is to confront him at the ballot box.”
He concluded by shouting into the camera that Americans should vote.
Even though Williams, other media figures and liberal politicians still insist that Project 2025 (the Heritage Foundation's agenda outline for a potential conservative presidential administration) is linked to the former president, Trump has denied any involvement with Project 2025.
“I don't agree with some of the things they're saying, and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal,” Trump said last month.

Last year, Williams used his band's performance at the Adjacent Music Festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to rant against potential voters for Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., when he was a Republican presidential candidate.
“And if you vote for Ron DeSantis, you're fucking dead to me,” she told the Atlantic City crowd, who cheered in support.
In early 2023, Williams shared a post on Instagram criticizing several Republican-sponsored bills aimed at banning drag shows in Tennessee where children are present.
“Being in drag is not a crime. Gender-affirming healthcare for all, including our youth, is a necessity,” she wrote, adding, “Once again, our state has passed two regressive and unfathomably harmful bills. We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ family and local LGBTQIA+ organizations in this fight, not only for the inclusion of our friends and family in the queer community, but for radical acceptance and empowerment for each of them.”
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
