Representative Mikie Sherrill, Dn.J., suggested accusing President Donald Trump for the third time to stop the Republicans after the partial exams of 2026, while seeking to become the next New Jersey governor.
“I think you have to test. I think it's not enough to take a hard fight. I think there are many difficult fights,” Sherrill told followers during a campaign event at Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Company Station 34 in the municipality of Manchester on April 26, according to the New York Post.
Sherrill, 53, was first chosen for the United States House in the half exams of 2018, winning the 11th District of the State Congress that had long been considered a republican strength. She voted for Trump's two trials during her first administration.
“When I accused the president the first time, who knew that I would once say,” I was saying at the campaign event last week when a member of the audience intervened that should “do it again”, which caused the laugh of the rest of the crowd.

“Yes, exactly. We'll see,” she replied. “Maybe we are going for the triumph.”
The congressman added: “But when I accused him the first time, I thought I would probably lose my seat after that because of my district.”
Earlier this week, the representative Shri Thanedar, a Mich. Democrat, presented trial articles against Trump for several senior crimes and minor crimes, even to eliminate federal programs without authorization from Congress, violating the rights of the first amendment and refusing to follow judicial orders to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego García to the United States after he was sent to a prison in his prison in his country of origin of El Salvador.
The Administration intends that Abrego García is a member of the MS-13 gang, although a judge previously granted him a form of protected status known as “retention of the elimination” after discovering that it would probably be an objective of the Salvadoran gangs if he deported to his native country. The “illegal actions of Trump have subverted the justice system, violated the separation of powers and placed the personal power and their own interest in public service,” Thanedar said in a statement by introducing articles of political trial against the president.
Sherrill explained in his event how the states led by the Democrats could challenge Trump's agenda.
“I was on the floor on January 6. And it has no intention of leaving in four years, zero,” said Sherrill, since Trump has floated the idea of folding the constitutional rules to run for a third mandate.
“It depends on, again, all make sure we are there, mobilize, unite people while trying to divide, find forms and, more or less, block and address in the United States,” said Sherrill.

“I have to tell him that everything is due to federalism, in my mind. It is the United States, and takes them to court while trying to make our electoral system,” he added.
Others who face Sherrill in the primary Democratic governor include representative Josh Gottheimer, Dn.J., Jersey City Steve Fulop, the mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, the former mayor of Montclair and president of the New Jersey Education Association Sean Spiller and the former president of the state president of the state Senate Stephen Stephen Sweeney.
The current Democratic governor Phil Murphy is limited to term.
New Jersey Democratic Primary will take place on June 10.
