'Real men wear pink!': Jimmy Failla puts his fashion sense to the test on the Fanatics Fest red carpet

“Fox News Saturday Night” host Jimmy Failla put his flashy fashion sense to the test by donning a “Pepto-Bismol” pink jacket on the red carpet at this weekend's Fanatics Fest in New York City, receiving the seal of approval from several sports legends and A-list stars — and some not-so-subtle disdain from others.

Former Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz, better known by his nickname “Big Papi,” was the first to cast his vote in favor.

“Would you wear this pink jacket?” Failla asked.

“Why not?” she exclaimed. “Real men wear pink!”

Failla carried his microphone around the sports convention area to ask several questions along the same lines: Was he wearing that style or should he have left it hanging in the closet?

Former MLB pitcher CC Sabathia and New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft answered the question below.

“Would CC Sabathia wear pink?” Failla asked.

“Of course,” he replied.

“Very flattering,” Kraft repeated.

Baseball legend Pedro Martinez, former NBA star Julius Erving, aka “Dr. J,” college basketball coach Penny Hardaway, CBS News personality Gayle King and even Jay-Z also gave Failla a thumbs-up.

Not everyone was on board with the eye-catching pink ensemble, however, including sports radio legend Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, who was the first to say, “That's a no.”

Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish joked about Failla's “Pepto-Bismol” look and responded, “No.”

“They finally brought us down. We were on top,” he said, laughing.
