A rare albino alligator has been born thanks to a successful breeding program specifically for albino alligators.
The pale alligator is the newest addition to Wild Florida's Gator Park in Kenansville.
The little reptile's parents are also being cared for at the park, where their eggs are kept in a climate-controlled room.

“We are so proud of parents Snowflake and Blizzard, who continue to beat the odds and provide a one-of-a-kind experience for guests,” said Andrew Ayala, a member of Wild Florida's “gator squad,” in a news release.
The eggs were kept in an incubator supervised by the squadron.
“While it is nearly impossible for albino alligators to reach maturity in the wild, Wild Florida is dedicated to providing the animals with the best possible environment so they can thrive,” Wild Florida said in its statement.
