Rachel Levine Proves Once Again She Is America's Number One Gender Extremist

Admiral Rachel Levine, the Biden administration's transgender undersecretary of health, has long been among the most gender extremists in American public life, but new documents reveal she is even more marginal than we knew.

Levine learned that the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, a radical left-wing advocacy group helping to drive the current gender crisis in the United States, was (surprise!) going to set recommended age minimums for gender-based medical interventions in its 2022 guidance.

It fell like a hammer, reaching out through secret channels to interfere.

WPATH wanted a minimum age of 14 for hormone treatment, 15 for mastectomies, 16 for breast augmentation and 17 for genital surgeries.

REPORT: BIDEN OFFICIALS LEAD TO REMOVE AGE LIMIT FOR MINOR TRANSSEXUAL SURGEONS

Levine didn’t want any limits… especially for surgeries.

But why the indirect communication? After all, she is the face of Biden's transgender policy stance.

According to an email revealed in a recent court filing, Levine was “confident, based on the rhetoric she is hearing in DC, and from what we have already seen, that these age-specific lists, under 18, will result in devastating legislation for trans people to watch out for.”

In other words, if WPATH were to give in to medical reality, it could hurt Levine's boss, Joe Biden, politically.

And, not surprisingly, WPATH violated its own rules and defied the wishes of its own committee members to compel this powerful, high-ranking government official (who clearly has the support of the President, or whoever calls the shots in this White House).

Remember: WPATH is, by any normal standard, about as far out on trans issues as you can get.

Although European nations and Britain have rightly moved away from the idea that children should have an easy path to medical intervention for gender dysphoria (interventions that can have brutal lifelong effects, such as infertility), the WPATH stubbornly remains.

Despite the heartbreaking testimony of uninhibited braves like Luka Hain and Chloe Cole, who were totally failed by the medical establishment.

But even that The group was too moderate for Levine, and his small gesture of sensible politics had to be eliminated to help national Democrats.

This is what happens when fanatics who literally live their ideology are allowed to set policy on a truly difficult issue.

Extremists like Levine often claim that trans people are marginalized, at risk, oppressed by society, etc., so they should be given everything they want as soon as they ask for it, no matter how absurd.

This concept is then enshrined in medical policies and guidelines and in all other official positions.

In fact, the opposite is true.

Witness the fate of brave whistleblowers Like Eithan Haim, the Texas surgeon now facing four felony charges for exposing the unethical and possibly illegal activities of doctors at America's largest children's hospital.

Or Jamie Reed, who was attacked by the ACLU for doing the same thing at a St. Louis gender clinic.

No, the power is (for now) on Levine's side as she moves to sweep away all barriers to protecting children from medical disasters.

This is precisely what makes the good fight against her and her brothers in arms so essential.
