Prince William lets loose while strolling around Windsor Castle in an unconventional way

Prince William is relaxing and making the most of his casual mode of transport.

In a viral video posted on TikTok on Thursday, the Prince of Wales was seen riding a two-wheeled electric scooter around the grounds of Windsor Castle. The future king wore a blue sweater, black trousers and sunglasses as he strolled.

Last year, The Sun reported that Prince William purchased a 10mph scooter as an alternative way to travel from his family home to Windsor Castle.

A source told the outlet: “It makes sense. She makes a quick trip to the castle when she needs to see the King. It's two or three miles round trip from her family home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle, so it's easier by scooter than by car or on foot.”

Last year, Prince William praised Americans for two traits when he visited New York for an environmental summit.

“No one is more optimistic and creative than the American people, so it is only right that we unveil this year's Earthshot finalists in New York City,” said Prince William. “Eighty years ago, the world came together in this great city to find a new way, through the UN, to solve our shared challenges.”

“I know that our generation can take the bold steps we need to make changes toward a healthy and sustainable world. The challenge may seem enormous, but as John F. Kennedy taught us, we rise to the challenge not because it is easy, but because it is difficult and vital,” he added.

The Prince and Princess of Wales recently joined the royal family at Trooping the Colour last month to form a united front as Kate Middleton and King Charles III battle cancer.

The festivities marked Kate's first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis in March. It is also the 42-year-old actress' first official appearance since Christmas.

This year also marked the King's second Trooping the Colour as monarch following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022.
