An on-duty motorcycle officer was hospitalized Thursday morning after a traffic collision in La Habra, authorities said.
The collision happened around 9:15 a.m. at Lambert Road and Walnut Street. ABC7 helicopter video showed the motorcycle flipped onto its side, with debris strewn around the intersection.
The officer was taken to a hospital “in critical but stable condition” Thursday afternoon, the La Habra Police Department said in a statement.
California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene to control traffic and assist in the investigation, agency spokesman Luis Quintero said.
