Eric Stonestreet has been accused of not being as friendly as his fan-favorite “Modern Family” character after a recent podcast appearance.

On June 25, podcaster Taylor Strecker was a guest on “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo's Amazon Live show when she was asked who the “worst guest” she's ever had on her “Taste of Taylor” podcast was.

“Eric Stonestreet… He's from 'Modern Family' and he's like the chubby, cheerful, sweet, funny guy,” Strecker told DeSorbo, adding, “Could he be anything else? How disgusting!”

Stonestreet, who played Cameron Tucker on the series for 11 seasons, was reportedly only interested in appearing on Strecker's podcast to promote his partnership with Pepto-Bismol.

“I didn't know!” Strecker admitted of the reason for Stonestreet's appearance. “We were just talking, talking. I was just like, you know, being my adorable self. And he said, 'So when are we going to talk about Pepto-Bismol?'”

She continued: “I said, 'I have hemorrhoids. I'm the queen of diarrhea. I love Pepto-Bismol! We can talk about anything. ' And he said, and I quote, 'Someone didn't do their homework. '”

“I said, 'I'm sorry. Do I get paid in Pepto-Bismol? The answer is no. So it's your job to find out, not mine,'” Strecker said.

DeSorbo added jokingly: “We're calling Sofia Vergara and we're going to get to the bottom of this. I mean, enough is enough.”

Strecker's podcast with Stonestreet is not available online. The actor's representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

The clip of Strecker and DeSorbo discussing Stonestreet was shared on Amazon Live's official TikTok account. The comments were filled with “Modern Family” fans weighing in on the conversation about the actor.

“Oh my god! I'm so bummed,” one user wrote. Another added: “No, don't tell me this.”

“I didn't realize how much I compete with the character I play on TV,” Stonestreet told Dan Patrick at the time. “When I'd meet people on the street, I'd think, 'Aren't you feeling so good? Is something wrong?' Well, no, it's just my personality.”

Stonestreet admitted he is much more “low-key and serious” than the loud, flamboyant character he played on television for more than a decade.
