The Phoenix Suns are being sued by a current staff member for alleged discrimination, harassment and reprisals.
Gene Traylor, director of Security, Security and Risk Management of the organization, says in its demand that the team degraded it after a presentation about possible security concerns surrounding the Sun and the WNBA mercury.
A case that the demand included was when two civil officers was able to take a knife to a game on December 17, 2023, in a evidence led by the Phoenix Police Defense Office of the Police Department. Almost a year later, in a similar test, two guns and a knife made their way through security.

The demand also alleges that the Suns failed an audit of the NBA.
The Suns said the accusations are “delusions and categorically false.”
“Guest security is our top priority,” said a SunS spokeswoman in a statement to ESPN. “We continue to comply and exceed security expectations. We regularly carry out security tests, which is standard throughout the industry. We have used these proactive measures to ensure that we operate at the highest level of safety and preparation.”
Traylor also showed concern for a part -time employee apparently stealing merchandise worth $ 40,000, a “discontent subject” that interrupts a team photography and a political provocative that approaches Brittney Griner.

NJ Transit Strike could affect thousands of New York sporting events.
It is the fourth demand against the team in the last seven months, all of which alleges discrimination.
The lawyer Shele Wright represents all the defendants, but the Suns issued scathing comments about her.
“The Arizona Supreme Court has disciplined the lawyer Sheree Wright twice for committing numerous violations of the professional conduct rules, and is currently serving a two -year probation with the Arizona Bar Association,” said the spokesman. “This time, Mrs. Wright and her client have made accusations absurd of misconduct around the Phoenix Suns Department of Security …
“Mrs. Wright continues to recruit the previous and now current employees and are manipulating them to present demands without merit.”
In his own statement, Wright said that “these are not vague accusations. They are specific, detailed and backed by witnesses, documentation and corroborating evidence.”
