The owner of the Rams, Stan Kroenke, will build a film study next to the Sofi Stadium in Inglewood that will serve as the International Transmission Center for the 2028 Olympic Games.
The construction will begin by summer in the study and production installation that will house hundreds of stations around the world that have acquired rights to cover the summer games in Los Angeles, Kroenke's company said Tuesday.
After the games, the installation known as Hollywood Park Studios will be used to make films, television programs and other productions and perhaps organize live broadcasts.
Development is part of Hollywood Park, a billionaire complex built on the site of an old horse racing track also known as Hollywood Park that includes the stadium, apartments, theaters, offices, stores and restaurants.
A luxury hotel is under construction there, and a greater development is being considered, including a grocery store and medical offices.
Kroenke's organization expects the attention of the Olympic Games to drive the appeal of Hollywood Park Studios as a future entertainment production center.
“We want it to be recognized worldwide,” said Alan Bornstein, who supervises the development of the study for Kroenke.
The study is part of the Hollywood Park master development plan focused on the media, entertainment and technology, said Bornstein, anchored by the Sofi stadium, the YouTube theater and the NFL media office building.
“There has been a growing convergence of media and technology and sports, all under the notion of entertainment that is now distributed in multiple channels,” said Bornstein, “either through transmission or if through television or transmission movies in cinemas,” “
The first phase of Hollywood Park Studios will occupy 12 acres and consist of five sound necklines, each of 18,000 square feet, two of which can be opened to a single stage of 36,000 square feet.
The complex will have a three -story office building and 80,000 square feet to support scenario, production and postproduction activities. The studies will have an open base camp where trucks, equipment and airplanes of the actors can be placed, along with a parking structure for 1,100 cars. Future development could include up to 20 stages and 200,000 square feet of related office space.
The additional stages would be built to adapt to the future tenants as the demand arises, said Bornstein, who refused to estimate how much the study complex will cost.
Although the demand for the sound supply of sound scenarios a few years ago, production has recently slowed and damp their current need.

Last year, the average annual occupation rate decreased to 63%, an additional indication of the deceleration of Hollywood's sustained production, according to a recent film report, a non -profit organization that tracks the days of sessions in the area of the great Los Angeles.
That was a 2023 decrease, which saw an average regional occupation rate of 69%. That was the year when the dual blows of writers and actors paralyzed the local production economy for months.
The incursion into the production facilities at Hollywood level is part of Kroenke's goal to combine sports, entertainment and media around the world, Bornstein said.
In addition to the Rams, Kroenke owns the Denver Nuggets basketball team, the Colorado Avalanche hockey team, the Colorado Rapid football team, the Colorado Gigantic Lacrosse team and the Arsenal football club, the Premier League football team with London headquarters.
Sofi Stadium, where the chargers also play football, will become the largest Olympic headquarters in history during the Games in 2028. It will host the Olympic Opening ceremony with the Memorial Coliseum of Los Angeles, as well as the opening ceremony for Paralympic Games.
Kroenke is also an important real estate developer and owner. The 300 Acres project in Hollywood Park is one of the largest mixed mixing developments under construction in the west of the United States. Sofi Stadium only cost $ 5 billion to build.
Last month, the plans for a new Rams headquarters in a 100 -acres site in Warner Center in Woodland Hills also made known a residential and retail community aimed at being the central piece of the San Fernando Valley. It could cost more than the total price of Hollywood Park, which has been valued by external observers by more than $ 10 billion.
The creation of a second epicenter in Woodland Hills allows Rams to significantly increase the size of their footprint in the market in southern California.
“When you are looking to do a practice installation, you don't need to be in the middle of everything, and generally that real estate is very expensive,” Kroenke told Times. “We build an identity in the valley, with Cal Lutheran, and many of our players and families are there. Our experience was really good.”
The Architecture firm Gensler headed the design of the Warner Center headquarters and Hollywood Park studies. Clayco will be the general contractor of the study, with Pacific Edge acting as project manager. Guggenheim Investments organized financing.
