It is widely believed that Jackie Kennedy was no stranger to the infidelities of President John F. Kennedy. But when it was Marilyn Monroe, it was different, so she supposedly faced her husband.

The statement was made by J. Randy Taraborrelli, who has written a new biography about the 35th President, “JFK: private, public secret”. It is a follow -up of his book 2023 about the deceased First Lady, “Jackie: public, private, secret.” For his latest book, Taraborrelli drew hundreds of interviews conducted for 25 years.

“Jackie cared [about Monroe]”Taraborrelli told Fox News Digital.” Jackie said: 'This is different. This could be a problem. But JFK was the president of the United States. He was dealing with Jrushchov, communism and the potential of an atomic war. . . . I don't think Marilyn Monroe really was on her radar, to be honest, apart from her 'happy birthday' at Madison Square Garden. “

Taraborrelli said that the conversation in question took place before Kennedy's birthday party on May 19, 1962. Monroe, which had already been established as a Hollywood sexual symbol, gave a “happy birthday” breath interpretation while wearing a naked and adorned account dress.

Jackie was not present at the festivities. Instead, he participated in the Hagoun Hunt Horse show in Leesburg, Virginia. It was a decision that Jackie's mother did not approve, said the book.

“He is selfish,” the matriarch told him, as cited in the book. “Remember who you are. You are the first lady of the United States. She is just an actress.”

But Jackie's mind was invented.

“I think the reason for her concern was because she knew her husband well, and I think it made sense to her that she was having an adventure with Marilyn,” Taraborrelli told Fox News Digital.

Taraborrelli said Jackie, “said Marilyn of all others,” feeling that the screen of the screen “could be a major problem.”

“However, JFK's response to that was that he told him that nothing was happening between him and Marilyn,” Taraborrelli said.

“But she believed him? Could he believe him? Why would he believe him?” Taraborrelli continued. “… Why would she take her word? Jackie thinks maybe JFK is lying, but she doesn't know.”

Taraborrelli admitted that there are “so many gray” in history because “everyone knew a different version of the events.”

For decades, it is rumored that the president and the film star had an adventure. According to Hollywood's tradition, it is claimed that the couple spent a weekend at the Bing Crosby house in early 1962.

For his book, Taraborrelli spoke with Pat Newcomb, who was a publicist and close friend of Monroe. She told him that no meeting had taken place at Crosby's house.

“Pat Newcomb said Marilyn Monroe told all kinds of things, but he never told everyone,” Taraborrelli explained.

“She simply did not believe that JFK and Marilyn were having an adventure. And as I wrote in the book, I don't think it's a person who would lie about it, not at the age of 95. I think that is what happens with people as they age, and many of my sources for this book were in their 90 and 100. They have a great reason less. [to lie]. Why protect Marilyn about 65 years after the fact? There is nothing I got from Pat that made me feel that I was interested in some kind of mythology. “

“She said: 'Look, I don't even know where Bing Crosby lived,” Taraborrelli shared. “… You don't think about what your friends were doing 65 years ago. But if your friend were having an adventure with John F. Kennedy, the president, I think it's something you remember, right? He is also a publicist from Marilyn. She would have been the one that Marilyn would have established going to Palm Springs to be with JFK in Bing Crosby's House.”

Taraborrelli said he had spoken with several sources to know if Monroe and Kennedy had had an appointment. He concluded that there is not enough evidence to support that theory.

“[Pat] It was quite inflexible that … it could have been a product of Marilyn's imagination, “said Taraborrelli.” And here is what people need to understand: Marilyn Monroe was the best narrator of her own life. . . . I often imagined a life for herself that was not really true. . . . And I think that is a great part of how all this has evolved over the years. “

“When it was that weekend at the Bing Crosby house, Pat Newcomb didn't know anything about that,” Taraborrelli shared. “He said that if it had happened, he would have known, because he was his best friend. We also looked at other sources that have told that story over the years, and we could discredit them.”

Taraborrelli believes that at one time, Monroe called Kennedy's house in the port of Hyannis in 1962 before the Madison Square Garden event. It is an affirmation that was previously shared in his book about Jackie. But he insisted that, despite Jackie's concerns, about the blonde bomb, “we don't have enough evidence to support Marilyn and JFK had an adventure.”

According to the book, Louise “Fifi” Fell, a socialité and friend of the Kennedy, organized a black tie party in his pad of New York City in 1962. He was there, said Taraborrelli, who Kennedy met Monroe.

“It was a cocktail and Peter Lawford [actor and Rat Pack member] He invited Marilyn and JFK, “Taraborrelli told Fox News Digital.” Marilyn arrived very late to get there. JFK almost left without having known her. “

Six months before, Monroe was at a Frank Sinatra concert in Las Vegas. The Kennedy, Jean and Pat sisters were also present. Lawford then invited Monroe to dinner at the house of Santa Monica of the couple in honor of Bobby and Ethel Kennedy, Taraborrelli said. An excited Monroe supposedly told Close Friends that it was “an appointment” with Bobby. It was really a meeting with “at least a dozen others,” Taraborrelli said.

Monroe died in August 1962 for an overdose of barbiturate. I was 36 years old. According to Taraborrelli, it was said that Jackie was sad for the news.

“It was tragic and horrible,” Taraborrelli reflected. “People were very sad because an overdose ended their life. It was something terrible and terrible.”

While Taraborrelli could not verify the rumor that surrounds the star, he made a surprising discovery about Kennedy.

“What surprised me were the complexities of its history,” Taraborrelli explained. “In this book, I didn't want to defend it … but I think you can understand it better. Towards the end of the book, it takes a total responsibility on your part when it tells her sister -in -law:” The way I treated Jackie was very painful, and by painful, I mean shameful. “That responsibility surprised me. [in their marriage]. He did everything possible to rectify him before his death. “
