A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in the shooting deaths of two other Wichita teens, and police are searching for more suspects.
Police said on X, formerly Twitter, that the two victims, Emoni Shears, 14, and Jhiquez Roberts, 19, were shot Friday night.
They later died from their injuries at a hospital.

The investigation led police to the unnamed 14-year-old suspect, who has been arrested on two counts of felony murder and one count of being a minor in possession of a firearm. As of Sunday morning, no formal charges had yet been filed.
Police said it appears the suspect and victims knew each other and were gathering in the area where the shooting occurred.
