Hamas has delivered the bodies of four Israeli hostages killed more than 500 days after the attack of the terrorist group on October 7, 2023 in Israel.
Hamas said the bodies would include Shiri Bibas and his two young children, Ariel and Kfir, as well as Oded Lifshitz, a retired journalist and activist. Their identities will be confirmed in Israel, which could take up to 48 hours.
At the time of his kidnapping, Shiri was 32 years old, Ariel was 4 years old and Kfir was 9 months old. His father, Yarden, was also kidnapped by Hamas, but survived and was released on February 1.
Lifshitz, a retired journalist and activist, was 83 years old when he and his 85 -year -old wife, and night, were kidnapped from his house. It was released on October 23, 2023.

The transfer took place in front of a large crowd near Khan Younis around 9 am local time on Thursday. According to the reports, the crowd was cheering when Hamas arrived carrying four black coffins in four separate cars.

The coffins were later transferred to a Red Cross car, which led them to the Israeli forces inside the Gaza strip.
The Israel Security Agency and the Israel Defense Forces published the following joint declaration shortly after the bodies of the hostages returned to the Jewish State:

The next transfer is scheduled for Saturday, where Hamas will launch six live hostages.
Around 70 hostages remain in custody of Hamas. Almost all the remaining hostages, including Israeli soldiers, are men and believe that approximately half are dead.
