Funeral held for members of the family killed by Bibas delivered by Hamas


A funeral procession for a mother and her two young children are held on Wednesday morning at Rishon Lezion, Israel, after Hamas delivered her remains last week.

The remains of Shiri Bibas and their children Ariel and Kfir were delivered to the Israeli authorities at the end of last week as part of an exchange of hostages between Israel and Hamas.

The funeral will take place near the family of the family in Kibbutz Nir Oz, in a private ceremony in Zohar, The Times of Israel reported. It will be closed to the public.

The family published the routine of the funeral procession and urged the public to show support since the remains are transported.

On Friday, Hamas delivered a coffin that carried the remains of Shiri Bibas to the Red Cross, which turned The coffin to the Israeli authorities. It was positively identified on Saturday morning.

Hamas had initially given a Palestinian woman from Gaza on Thursday.

The terrorist group said that “he had no interest in retaining any body in his possession.” He said that the dead hostages delivered on Thursday had been killed by a Israeli air attack In November 2023 and that the bodies could have been mistakenly identified due to bombings in the area.

Before the delivery of Shiri Bibas' remains, the Israeli authorities positively identified the remains of their two children along with another hostage, Oded Lifshitz.
