Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., announced Thursday that he will launch a campaign for governor of California in 2026.
The congressman and longtime enemy of President Donald Trump made the announcement during an appearance on the late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“You're going to hate tonight's episode,” Swalwell wrote on X in response to the president's social media post criticizing Kimmel for being “biased” and “talentless.”
