Hollywood celebrities made their next awards season stop in Santa Monica for the 2024 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night.
The event, hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler, paid tribute to the best of television and film, and the stars shined on the red carpet, with black and red being big trend colors.
Jennifer Aniston wore a black Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit with a feather bodice and a long train that fell over her hips.
Reese Witherspoon opted for an almost matching strapless black dress with a large bow at the waist. Witherspoon brought her lookalike daughter, Ava Phillippe, as a date. She coordinated with a short black strapless dress with beaded embellishments.

Meg Ryan wowed on the red carpet in a strapless black sequin dress, her first major red carpet appearance since 2021.

Margot Robbie took a break from Barbie pink and wore a strapless red dress with a border of roses around the neckline, with her hair in a loose, casual bun.
Emily Blunt also opted for a floral accessory on the shoulder of her red one-sleeved dress, paired with slicked-back hair and red lips. Her husband, John Krasinski, wore a light beige tuxedo jacket and brown pants, changing up the typical awards show look.

Some stars broke the black and red trend of the night.
“Saltburn” star Rosamund Pike wore a sparkly blue sequined dress. Last week at the Golden Globes, she wore a “protective veil” after her face was “smashed” while on vacation in a skiing accident.
“May/December” star Julianne Moore wore a strapless purple column dress, adorned with a large brooch at the center of the neckline.
“Barbie” star América Ferrera opted for a bronze-toned brown sequin dress, paired with a sleek bob cut.
