He Philadelphia Eagles are taking action after a “fake” political ad endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election circulated on social media on Monday.

The Eagles issued a statement denying that the animated sign showing Harris On an Eagles helmet was an official announcement from the team, adding that the organization was working to eliminate them.

“We are aware of counterfeit political ads circulating and are working with our advertising partner to remove them,” the statement posted on social media read.

Images of the fictional sign, reportedly placed at a bus stop in Philadelphia, read “Kamala, Official Candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.”

The poster also included a link to the Eagles' website where voting information could be found. But the information available on the website Monday afternoon appeared to have been last updated before the Pennsylvania vote and New Jersey Primaries.

According CBS News, The poster is the latest creation of street artist Winston Tseng.

In a 2023 interview with Street art news, Tseng said he likes to “use brands and advertising to communicate social issues, hoping to draw some unexpected attention to them in our daily lives.”
