After living in Hollywood for 20 years, Tom Green was ready to go home.
It was 2021 when the comedian and the actor returned to his native country in Canada. Today, it resides in a 150 acres farm in a remote ontarium area along with chickens, a donkey and a 1,500 pound mule, among other animals.
“I'm often in the desert,” the 53 -year -old told Fox News Digital. “There is not much out of the farm in terms of restaurants and comforts. In California, it was good to be able to make comedy standing every night. It was nice to be able to have 200 sushi restaurants different from which you could go. But … there is nothing really that I lose living there, to be honest with you. It is nice to be living in the farm in the farm.”

The MTV star that jokes everyone during the Y2K era, including her parents, is telling her new life in a series about the main video, “Tom Green Country.”
The transmission giant also offers “this is Tom Green's documentary” about his rise to fame, as well as his stand-up special, “Tom Green: I have a mule!” He also has a new country album, “Home to the country”, a love letter to his new life.

“I have maintained all these images for years of my old public access program and videos I used to do and my MTV program,” Green explained about why he decided to be the issue of a revealing now.

“The show was quite scandalous and a crazy show,” he reflected. “It was held in those first days of homemade video before social networks. I think sometimes people surprised people, people were playing a little character or a wild and crazy version of myself. I think I wanted to join this documentary to … clarify the record and let people … know what I am everything.”
Green said his desire to leave California began during the pandemic. His foot comedy tour was postponed for the year. Then, he decided to go out to the desert in a truck.

“I was traveling throughout the southwest of the United States in a bell truck making videos for my YouTube channel and simply recording podcasts,” he explained. “Then I realized that I love being so much in nature. I grew up in Canada, and I always spent a lot of time fishing and going out in the desert there. I decided that I wanted to live like this.”

“Then, I moved back home,” he said.
Green's farm is “not far from where I grew up,” he shared. He is also close to his parents, who have forgiven him since he put the head of a cow on his bed, in the “Godfather” style.

“They still talk to me,” he said. “Getting a farm near my family, has been the best decision I have made, I think it is never very different from the angels, and I am happy to be on the farm.”

“I have never felt completely at home in Los Angeles … I always thought strange,” Green reflected. “I always seemed strange to be in Los Angeles and in that world. I had a lot of fun there. I began to make a comedy standing again in Los Angeles 20 years ago … I acted in the great comedy clubs of Los Angeles … but I always felt that I was missing the home and wanted to live closer to my family.”
Green has collected some unexpected skills along the way.

“Mounting in my mule,” he boasted. “I didn't know anything about riding horses or mules. I certainly didn't know how to get up in the morning and leave and take care of a 1,500 pounds giant.”

His new lady has been an inspiration, he said.
“Fanny is a huge and ridiculous mule, perhaps the largest ridiculous mule in Canada … the painting every morning. I take her to the desert. I really became very comfortable riding Fanny and using her just to move around the property. And it has also been an extremely beautiful experience to be able to unite with such an animal,” he said.

“I never really lived on a farm when I grew up,” Green shared. “I lived in the city of Ottawa … [But] It would come to nature. He would go fishing and would go out to the country. We had a cabin when we were a child that we went fishing, but in reality I had farm animals and all that. “

Escape from the brightness and glamor of Hollywood has brought green peace. He spends the morning of the morning and feeding his chickens. He also works around his 1857 farm with his dog Charley always near. You can even see it in an ATV with your fiancee, Amanda Nelson. He was previously married to Drew Barrymore from 2001 to 2002.
“When I lived in Los Angeles, and I was working in the entertainment world, it was always Go-Go-Go,” he said. “You are always trying to discover what you are doing next, and you can get stressed. It is good to live in a simpler and calm environment and be in the presence of these animals. It is something very quiet and peaceful. I think a much happier person makes me.”

Anyone can do it too, he insisted. I only know what to be registered for.
“If you want to move to the country and get out of the city, you really like that rural lifestyle,” Green said. “You have to want not only peace and tranquility, but you have to enjoy all aspects. I love getting up in the morning and walking through the desert. Maybe there will be some mosquitoes here and there. Maybe there will be some muddy boots. But it is something that is in your blood.”

“Doing things like fishing, hunting or simply being outdoors can be very cathartic if you really are in your heart,” he said. “If you feel that it is in your heart, and you want to live a simpler and rural lifestyle, you should do it, because I think you will not regret it. It is not for everyone, but it was a great option for me.”
