Ava Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, was on the mend after being rushed to the hospital following a walking accident.
Tavia Shackles, Ava's mother, posted on Instagram Stories about her daughter's recovery earlier in the week, according to Page Six. The post had expired by Wednesday.

“This little creature fell off the mountain today while hiking and had to go to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,” Shackles wrote alongside a photo of herself and Ava. “It's been a looooong day.
“Thank God, he is recovering and smiling already. Please pray for his speedy and full recovery.”
Hunt later posted that she was back home and watching Simone Biles' performance on the balance beam.

“Update: Surgery went great and I'm back home watching my favorite show @simonebiles!!,” she wrote on her Stories. “I feel great (although I might still be a little high).”

Ava Hunt is the sister of Gracie Hunt, who is often seen on the sideline for the Chiefs. Her parents are Clark Hunt and Tavia Shackles.
