“I just wanted to say that I have been overwhelmed by the messages of love and support,” Karen wrote, along with a series of photos from the summer solstice. “Thank you, it really has meant a lot to me. I'm just processing it right now. I'll be back with you soon. I thought I'd share some photos from last night's Midsummer Gathering.”

Earlier this month, the late Princess Diana's younger brother announced their separation to The mail.

“It's immensely sad,” the British aristocrat told the outlet about the divorce. “I just want to dedicate myself to all my children and grandchildren, and I wish Karen every happiness in the future.”

A spokesperson for Spencer did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment at the time.

According to the outlet, the 9th Earl Spencer's marriage to the Countess of Spencer ended in the middle of the writing of his memoirs, “A Very Private School.”

In his memoir, Spencer revealed how he was sexually abused as a child.

Over the years, Spencer kept the abuse a secret. But after two failed marriages, Spencer realized she needed help.

“I was so confused by my endless romantic disasters, my deep unhappiness and my two divorces,” he previously told Fox News Digital. “I also wanted to do something for my kids. Actually, that was the incentive. I wanted to do better for them, so I could be a better father. I don't know if you would agree that I accomplished that, but that was my goal. And I think, If I hadn't been a father, I probably would have continued…coping. [Saying it out loud] It was surprisingly helpful. “It didn't get to the root of the problem, but it pushed me to pursue more honest therapy.”

Spencer said he's “really turned a corner” in the last three or four months, especially after writing his book. She is still undergoing “very effective” treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, in addition to tai chi and breathing exercises.

“I have a whole arsenal of support techniques to try to get to a better place,” he shared.
