Radio host Charlamagne tha God criticized MSNBC for accusing him of spreading “MAGA messages” when discussing the border crisis, arguing that angry voters have confronted him about the issue because the surge has greatly impacted “everyday” Americans. “across the political spectrum.

Charlamagne spoke with “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday about why he disagrees with the far-left outlet as Biden struggles to win support from Black voters ahead of November.

CHARLAMAGNE THAT GOD BLAMES THE MEDIA FOR DIVISION, SAYS THAT VOTERS CAN CHOOSE 'THIEVES', 'COWARDS' OR 'THE COUCH'

“There was a backlash earlier this year when I was asked a simple question: Do I think the border is going to be an issue in November? This was in January,” Charlamagne told Brian Kilmeade. “I said, yeah…the reason I feel like it's going to be a problem [is] because [for] For the first time in my life, people I know are talking to me about what's going on at the border, whether it's… someone I know who works in a parking lot in New York and comes to me crying and talking about… the crime that is in your neighborhood because the gangs that come or… talk to activists in Chicago who are just upset because they feel that… these people come and get more access to resources than people who have been living on the side south…homeless…are becoming. “That's me listening to people.”

“So when I get asked that question and I say yes, all of a sudden I'm on… MSNBC with the headline: 'Charlamagne, God is Spreading MAGA Messages.' I think these people are not MAGA,” he continued. “He's just an ordinary, working-class person who comes to me because he knows I have a microphone and complains.”

'LA VISTA' DEMANDS CARLAMAGNE THAT GOD SUPPORT PRESIDENT BIDEN: 'HELP HIM!'

“There is a worrying trend of conservatives leaning on black media figures and outlets that target black audiences, particularly tabloids and rappers, to spread their point of view,” wrote ReidOut Blog writer Ja'han Jones. . “Successive elections have shown that conservatives are out of touch with the majority of black voters. Pew Research projects that this November there will be more than 34 million eligible black voters, and a whopping 92% of black voters favored Biden in 2020”.

Meanwhile, recent polls have indicated that Biden has lost support in the Black community – a key voting bloc necessary for his success in November – as his campaign unveils a new Black voter initiative in response to the slip.

The Biden-Harris campaign on Wednesday announced an eight-figure spending blitz to boost engagement with Black student organizations, community groups and faith centers nationally and in battleground states as the president seeks to build support for his re-election. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris then headed to Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon for the first official “Black Voters for Biden-Harris” event.

“Today's launch of the Black Voters for Biden-Harris coalition is another example of how our campaign is working diligently to win every vote. This coalition and the recently announced summer engagement and outreach programming serve as the next phase of historic investments of our campaign in reaching the backbone of the Biden-Harris coalition: Black voters,” said Quentin Fulks, senior deputy campaign manager for the Biden-Harris campaign.

Jahmiel Jackson, a Philadelphia resident and registered Democrat, told “Fox & Friends First” on Wednesday that key issues like the economy will drive voters to support other candidates when they cast their ballots.

DEMOCRATS PRIVATELY WORRIED THAT BIDEN'S CAMPAIGN IS 'DOOMED,' WORRY TRUMP COULD EVEN WIN BLUE STATES: REPORT

“When I see what's happening at the border, when I see so many issues that concern me, like maybe school loans, the economy about to graduate, the job search, and so many of my friends who are there going to the store “The employees will become baristas. The economy is not in a place where we can sit back and vote Democrat, or we're already black,” he told co-host Carley Shimkus. “I think you have a lot to answer for, and six months just won't be enough.”

A recent Fox News poll found that Biden has 72% support among Black voters, up from 66% in February, but down from 79% before the 2020 election. Fox News' voter analysis of November 2020 found that 91% of black voters were on Biden's side.

A New York Times/Siena poll conducted in six battleground states found that 76% of black voters rate the current economy as “fair” or “poor,” while only 22% said it was “excellent” or “good.” “. The survey found that black Americans, like other Americans, rank the economy as their number one issue.

“When I watch Trump speak, there are many cases where, yes, he could go after Biden because Biden is unfairly going after him politically with the government and the legal system. However, he is not going after all Democrats or all who support him .Biden,” Jackson said. “I think he's really trying to… unify the country… whereas with Biden and other Democrats, they're going after anyone who's Republican, who's MAGA, who wants to see… more resources used for real American citizens, including black Americans.”
