The three people who died after the car they were travelling in plunged off a cliff in California on Friday have been identified.
Authorities say Mohammad Noory, 29, and Angelica Gacho, 28, both of San Francisco, were found in the wreckage. Brylyn Aroma, 36, of Fort Riley, Kansas, was also identified as one of the crash victims by the San Mateo County Coroner's Office, according to local reports.
A gray two-door sedan was reported to have veered off Highway 1 in San Mateo County and plunged off a cliff near the Tom Lantos Tunnels around 11:40 a.m., KGO-TV reported.
The road was closed for a time as a result of the accident, but has since reopened.

High tide conditions and cold water temperatures hampered recovery efforts on Friday, leading to the car's recovery on Saturday, according to KTVU FOX 2.
The cliff, known by locals as “the devil's slide,” is between 300 and 400 feet high. The area is known for its rocky edges and winding paths.

The cause of the crash has not yet been revealed. Fox News reached out to the investigating agency, the California Highway Patrol, for more information, but they did not immediately respond.
