A man from San Mateo faces multiple positions for serious crimes after he allegedly opened fire to a SUV that took three high school children who had poured oil on their porch and sank their home, authorities said.
Craig Miceli, 54, told police officers that his daughter had been the victim of constant intimidation in her high school and that she was enraged by the jaws of the jokers, according to the office of the District Prosecutor of the County of San Mateo.
The prosecutors said the children, two of them at the age of 16 and another 17, attacked the house of San Mateo of a classmate who did not like Hillsdale High School.
First they extend oil on the front porch of Miceli on Friday. Then they returned in the early hours of Sunday morning and each threw an egg home.
Miceli fought against the yolk with lead, allegedly firing two shots to the children's SUV, one of whom hit the panel on the wheel on the side of the front passenger, according to the prosecutor's office.
He told police officers that he was already upset about having to spend time cleaning the oil on his porch before the Egging incident, so he grabbed his gun and shot her in the children's car tires, prosecutors said. Miceli said he then threw the weapon into the water dog lake.
Later, the police obtained a search warrant and recovered an illegal automatic rifle and various types of ammunition from their home.
Miceli was accused of three assault charges with a firearm, a charge of shooting in a busy vehicle and two charges related to an illegal assault weapon. He was prosecuted in the Superior Court of San Mateo on Tuesday and declared himself innocent of all the positions.
The court issued a protection order that prohibits Miceli from contacting adolescents. His bond was set at $ 25,000, and he must return to the Court for a preliminary hearing on June 9, according to the prosecutor's office.
