EXCLUSIVE: Attorney General Pam Bondi and the director of the FBI Kash Patel are bringing Missouri Andrew Bailey attorney as additional deputy director of the office, Fox News Digital said.
Bailey will serve as Defense Director, together with Deputy Director Dan Bongino, according to Fox News Digital.

Bailey, as Missouri Attorney General, launched an anti-human traffic task force and addressed more than 1,100 incidents informed in Missouri. It also cleared the accumulation of Forensic Evidence Kits (SAFE) of sexual aggression to improve the prosecution of cases of sexual aggression.
The Bailey office also defended the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in civil litigation and has constantly advocated the police. Bailey was backed by the fraternal order of the Missouri Police.

The Bailey office also reported a 133% increase in criminal prosecutions at the level of the Court of First Instance.
Bailey has also held public officials responsible during his time as a attorney general. He demanded the resignation of a sheriff for poor management and financial misconduct, and, separately, announced an accusation of a large jury against a St. Louis County Executive for stealing violations of the electoral law.

A senior administration official told Fox News Digital that President Donald Trump “wants to see the bad prosecuted, the illegal deportees and responsible corrupt politicians.”
“We need all our hands in the deck to achieve all these important objectives,” said the official. “Andrew Bailey will serve as another set of credible and experienced hands to help the Attorney General Bondi and the director of the FBI Patel to carry out the president's mission.”

The FBI, under Patel's leadership, has already seen 19,000 arrests throughout the country, that is twice the arrests made throughout 2024.
Of these, 1,600 individuals have been arrested for violent crimes against children, including 270 arrests for people traffickers, according to the FBI. A thousand have been arrested in investigations of foreign terrorist organizations, and three of the “10 best sought after” have been arrested in 2025.
Patel FBI has rescued 4,000 children's victims, a 33% increase in 2025; seized 1,500 kilos of fentanyl; and seized 6,300 kilos of methamphetamines.

A senior official told Fox News Digital that the murder rate is currently on the way to being the lowest recorded in history.

“President Trump wants the United States to quickly become the safer country in the world, and has gathered the best team focused on law and order in business to achieve that goal,” said White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, Fox News Digital.
The addition of Bailey occurs in the midst of the expanding nature of the Trump's law and order agenda. As for the federal acquisition of Washington, DC, Bondi is in charge, and the FBI is playing an important role.
Bondi, on Friday, announced that there have been almost 200 arrests “and counting” in the capital of the nation, including those of the murder suspects and the illegal criminals of arms, since the Trump administration federalized the city to address the crime.

Among those arrested were two homicide suspects, 17 alleged drug traffickers, 39 alleged illegal criminals and two sexual predators, according to Bondi.
