Blasio's bill argues that the 2024 presidential elections were “won” for Democrats

The former mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio, says that the Democratic party sought a “ganable election” because they did not quote the mental deterioration of former President Joe Biden.

“And instead of us as Democrats who drain our hands and cry, let's go back to the horse and ride it because we have something to say,” said Blasio in “America's Newsroom” on Thursday.

De Blasio explained that the Democrats lost the opportunity to address inflation and border problems. He added that Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris were trying to reduce medical care costs and insulin price, a movement that could have translated into their campaign messages.

“And those messages were not clear. And people had every right to want those answers,” he said. “That was good, but it wasn't a completely enough answer. So I think what we need to see this and say, we blow it.”

Blasio was running for president in the presidential elections of 2020 when Biden and Harris defeated the then presidential candidate for the then presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Throughout the 2024 presidential race, many experts and media commentators ran in defense of Biden when speculated on their mental decline, even after the report of the special lawyer Robert Hur about him was Well intentionally, but forgetfulViral videos of him looking confused, and a Wall Street Journal report about his hesitant behavior behind the scene.

“Let's say it out loud: we blow it out. People did not feel that we understood them and were enough empathizing. That is repairable, by the way,” said De Blasio.

“Think of those voters. And there are many in this country who voted for Barack Obama twice, Donald Trump, then, then Joe Biden, then Donald Trump again. Those are not voters who could not return to the Democratic Party. By definition, those are voters that we can recover.”
