WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?
Qd.pi also answered questions during the interview and said, “My ability to access and process information quickly is definitely one of the unique advantages I bring to the program. I can provide quick information and context on a wide range of topics and people, which “It can be very valuable in a live conversation. It definitely sets me apart from a traditional host who would need to do a lot of research and preparation in advance.”

The first episode will feature special guest from a conversation with Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason,” according to the show's press release.
The seven-time Grammy winner added in his interview with Hollywood Reporter that he has been working with AI platforms since 2012, stating, “I've always been a driver of the future, casting for the future.”
Artificial intelligence expert Marva Bailer told Fox News Digital: “Most people don't know that Will.i.am is a big technologist. He was a big investor in Beats Technologies, but they just don't see these music artists. as business people. Especially technologists, who are investors in technology and are very intelligent because they really have the pulse of what is happening with the culture.
Regarding his new radio show, Bailer said: “Will.i.am is actually using technology from his company, FYI, which is an AI-powered platform to revolutionize the creative process. So it's very different to use a chat bot or someone else. In fact, he's going to show off this revolutionary technology that he's been working on for several years with IBM.”
Bailer compared AI co-host qd.pi to AI robot Watson, who competed on “Jeopardy!” and won, noting that Will.i.am's app is “beyond ChatGPT” when it comes to creativity and collaboration.
“This platform is an advanced platform built for creatives. So when creatives develop and collect content, they have multiple files and videos that they try to collaborate together. [with] and it's too much to transfer. [There’s also the] worry that it might actually be stolen. So it's working to encrypt those files and transfer them collaboratively. You then take that data and information and use it to infuse your co-host with truly unlimited information. This goes beyond ChatGPT. “It's taking ChatGPT, Dropbox files, creative content and putting it all on a collaborative platform.”
Bailer clarified that anyone who enters material into the app will still own it, saying it's similar to a crypt or NFT persona, but also “a completely new business model.”

Will.i.am spoke to CNBC during the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos about AI and the importance of controlling one's image and data.
“These are all new concepts and there's no rule book for it yet. And we're figuring that out as we go. I think… you need to own your AI and the data that will drive it. Right now, we don't to own our data,” he said, adding, “It is a human right that I own my things. It is a human right that the things I own will feed my essence and likeness.”
AI-assisted podcasts and shows are on the rise. Last year, ChatGPT created an AI-generated episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” featuring voice-over recreations of Rogan and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in conversation.
Rogan wrote about the recreation on X (later Twitter), saying, “This is going to get very slippery, kids.”

Last week, another AI-generated and co-hosted podcast caused controversy by creating a riff on a modern stand-up special by the late comedian George Carlin.
Dudesy, an AI comedy platform founded by “Mad TV” alum Will Sasso and author and screenwriter Chad Kultgen, launched an hour-long comedy special titled “George Carlin: I’m Glad I’m Dead” on YouTube and other platforms.
According to its website, Dudesy AI has access to all of Sasso and Kultgen's “personal emails, text messages, social media accounts, purchases, and browsing histories so it can tailor the program to your specific personalities and entertain you to the highest degree.” level”. possible. Each episode is an experiment that generates data that will be used to make the next episode even better! In time, Dudesy will be perfect and so will you.”
In an accompanying podcast episode, Sasso and Kultgen reacted to an excerpt from the AI-generated special, which they claim they did not know was generated by Dudesy.

Carlin's daughter, Kelly Carlin-McCall, denounced the platform's use of her father's material and name.
“My father spent his entire life honing his craft from his very human life, brain and imagination. No machine will ever replace his genius,” she wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital. “These AI-generated products are clever attempts to try to recreate a mind that will never exist again. Let the artist's work speak for itself.”
Bailer explained that there is a big difference between what Dudesy did and what Will.i.am's radio show and app do.
“[Will.i.am] you're on a platform to really protect your data and your real essence,” he said. “So your platform will be an innovative way to really protect your essence and your likeness. And that is his mission for the world. Think of it as someone who engages creatives in a different way, where it's actually the infrastructure for all of these new ideas and creations, and it's trying to protect that infrastructure as well as increase the productivity of creatives by having that accessibility. to transfer and share files. and content collaboration.”
