Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose are ending their relationship less than a year into their marriage.
Cyrus, 62, requested a contract annulment from the Australian singer, 36, in May, alleging “irreconcilable differences” and alleged “inappropriate marital conduct,” according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” country singer filed a petition to end their union in a Tennessee court last month.

In addition, “the consent to marry was obtained through fraud” was listed as a ground for annulment. Their date of separation was listed as May 22, 2024, according to the documents.
“The husband claims that he is entitled to an annulment since he consented to the marriage based on fraud on the part of the wife, and that if he had known this he would not have married his wife,” the petition states.
Representatives for Cyrus did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

In an order filed on May 24, Cyrus agreed to pay $500 per night for a period of 10 nights so Firerose can “stay at a hotel or Airbnb while she searches for a place to reside during this proceeding.”

“Thereafter, the husband shall pay the wife $5,000 per month for her to obtain suitable housing in the Middle Tennessee area for a period of 90 days or the dissolution of the marriage, whichever occurs first,” the documents.
Cyrus must give “reasonable access” to her marital home to allow Firerose to remove her belongings, and she must provide all of her social media passwords to a designated person, according to the agreement.

The former couple married at their estate in Tennessee in October, sharing on Instagram at the time that “10/10/23 will always be the beautiful and joyful day when our two souls joined as one in holy matrimony.

Cyrus and Firerose, whose full name is Johanna Rosie Hodges, announced his engagement in November 2022.
At the time, Cyrus revealed to People magazine that he met his future wife 13 years ago on the set of “Hannah Montana.”

“There are a couple of old pine trees on the lot that look like like Tennessee” he recalled. “Tex (his dog) and I would go there in the middle of the day and he would go about his business. And we would stretch and he would think how much he missed Tennessee.
“On that particular day, Firerose walked out the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don't know, recognition. I thought, 'This girl is a star.'”
Cyrus has five children with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus. Firerose was also previously married.
