The game began in a similar way to the loss of the Tar Heels against TCU began, with a touchdown. Field Marshal Gio López needed three plays to enter the annotation zone. He found Chris Culliver for a 51 -yard touchdown pass. North Carolina's defense would be locked from there.

Charlotte stepped on his first three units before collecting his only field goal in the second quarter. The 49ers changed the ball in Downs in the second quarter and Campo de Campo de los 49ers, Grayson Loftis, threw an interception to Greg Smith of North Carolina to finish his trip.

López was 17 of 25 with 155 aerial yards and the TouchDown pass for game opening. Davion Gouse ran for a touchdown along with 27 yards on the floor. Culliver led the North Carolina receptors with three trapped for 74 yards and the first quarter score.

Belichick listened to many criticism for the loss against cornudas frogs. In a short week, he got the Tar Heels to remain focused on the task in question and avoided a start of 0-2.

He took over as the head of the Tar Heels for Mack Brown. Above all, he kept out of the center of attention until it was confirmed that he was dating Jordon Hudson. The age gap between Belichick and Hudson became the topic of conversation around the program from spring and during the summer.
