President Biden was seen leaving Mass at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, just minutes after an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
Photos obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital show Biden leaving the church at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, donning a black baseball cap as he walked out of the church flanked by allies and members of the Secret Service.
The photos were taken about five minutes after Trump was injured by an assailant at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour north of Pittsburgh. Fox News confirmed that the attack is being investigated as an attempted assassination.
Trump was seen clutching his right ear before falling to the ground and was then surrounded by Secret Service members. He was then escorted off the stage by Secret Service, his right ear covered in blood.

Biden added that he plans to speak with Trump following the assassination attempt.
“He appears to be doing well,” Biden said. “I plan to speak with him shortly… Look, there is no place in America for this kind of violence.”
Trump posted a statement on Truth Social, saying he was shot in the ear. His campaign had previously released a statement saying that despite the attack, the president is “doing well” and receiving medical treatment.
TRUMP SAYS HE WAS 'SHOT WITH A BULLET' IN ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT AT PENNSYLVANIA RALLY
“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for their quick response to the shooting that just occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to express my condolences to the family of the person who was killed at the rally and also to the family of another person who was seriously injured,” Trump posted.
“It's unbelievable that such an act could happen in our country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that went through the top of my right ear. I knew immediately something was wrong because I heard a whistling sound, gunshots, and immediately felt the bullet go through my skin. There was a lot of bleeding so I realized what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
The FBI is leading the investigation into the matter and is asking anyone with information about the suspect or the shooting to come forward.
