American tennis Player Danille Collins is running out of patience.

The 30-year-old professional lashed out at a group of unruly fans during her round of 16 match at the Monterrey Open on Wednesday after appearing to interrupt her opponent, Erika Andreeva, during her serve.

“I don't understand. It's not that difficult to let us play tennis and be supportive.”

Both players reportedly faced heckling from the same group of fans, but Collins' outburst seemed to silence them after that point.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the world number 11 to regain her focus and she suffered a shock defeat to Andreeva, who claimed her first career win over a top 20 player.

Collins was the top seed at the start of the tournament, but Andreeva took the first set with ease, winning 1-6.

Collins responded by taking the set 6-3, but Andreeva would secure her place in the quarterfinals, taking the third set 6-3 to wrap up the match in just under two hours.

“Every time I touch this [level] I try not to think about my opponent. [their ranking]”I feel a lot of pressure,” Andreeva said after the match, via the WTA website. “Can I do it? I have to take every opportunity I have. But this time I was like, 'OK, I just hit the yellow ball and I don't care who I play against.'”
