A CALARTS student was killed at home. A man has been arrested


A man has been arrested in relation to the death of Menghan Zhuang, a 23 -year -old student found murdered in his condominium last month, authorities announced this week.

Jack Minh Terry, 22, was arrested in Garden Grove on February 16, according to a statement on Thursday of the Los Angeles County Sheriff department. The case was presented to the County District Prosecutor's Office, and Terry was accused of murder, according to the statement.

He is detained without bail and is scheduled to appear before the court on March 27.

Zhuang, a student from China National and the California Institute of Arts who was also known as Emily King, was found unanswered by his roommate at the beginning of February, according to the department of the Sheriff.

His roommate called 911, and emergency responders found that Zhuang suffered multiple injuries at the top of the body, authorities said. It was declared dead on the scene.

The detectives claim that it was seen to Terry leaving Zhuang's residence in the Views Complex Condominium in Newhall on February 4, the day they found her dead.
