That said, the first British edition of this book “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone” is actually 223 pages. It is quite difficult to get authentic copies nowadays and you will have to spend a lot of cash to get one.

Even the second and third books in the series, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” are not overly long, both around 400 pages.

The rest of the series is where the page count really grows.

The fourth book, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” is over 700 pages, and the fifth, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” is nearly 900 pages.
