A 15 -year -old boy was killed and another five injured in a collision in the Parking of the Campbell Hall on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The Los Angeles Police Department received a call at 3:10 pm with respect to a collision of vehicles against the pedestrian in the private school of Studio City, according to a spokesman for the department.
The boy was hit by a 2025 Green Rivian SUV while crossing the parking lot and noticed a white SUV, the spokesman said. He was seriously injured and taken to a hospital to receive treatment, where he was later declared dead.

The aerial images captured by Ktla News Helicopters showed an accumulation of three vehicles in the parking lot. It seemed that the Rivian pushed the white SUV to a black SUV while the parents were aligning in their vehicles to pick up the students of the school.
The cause of the collision is currently unknown, as well as the identity of the driver.
“My heart is with the entire community of Campbell Hall during this tragic time,” said the County Supervisor Lindsay Horvath, in a statement on X. “I am praying for the student in serious conditions and all those affected, especially his friends and loved ones.”
The mayor's crisis response team was sent to the school after the incident to provide emotional support and recovery assistance to relatives and witnesses, according to the LAFD.
Campbell Hall is an Episcopal K-12 private school with famous alumni, including Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen actors; Dakota and Elle Fanning; and the NBA Jrue players, Aaron and Justin Holiday.
School representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
