Former The Bachelor Contestant Anna Redman has apologized for posting an inspirational video featuring Auschwitz outfits.

In a post shared on Instagram Stories, the 28-year-old shared what she planned to wear for each day of her upcoming trip to Poland, including the outfit she would wear to the 16th stop on her list, Auschwitz, where an estimated 1.1 million people were murdered in one of the deadliest concentration camps during the Holocaust.

She shared with her 114,000 Instagram followers a photo of herself in a black dress and trainers, her planned outfit for the outing. She captioned the photo: “Best packing hack ever. Is anyone going to match my style?”

In her comments section, critics slammed her for sharing something so “inaccurate.”

“You know what the most embarrassing thing is?” one person wrote. “You are so tone-deaf to post an Auschwitz outfit in your articles.”

Another added: “This is totally insensitive and implies she is going to take ‘aesthetic’ photos in a death camp where over a million people were murdered. Girl. Bye. This is bullshit.”

“This is one of the most spiritually bankrupt things I’ve seen in a LONG time,” noted a third.

“This is fucking disgusting, man,” another person commented. “I never thought I'd see a dress code for a fucking concentration camp.”

“Also, it is totally inappropriate attire to wear in Auschwitz,” said a fifth person. “You are in a concentration camp, not a lunch place.”

Since receiving criticism for posting her Auschwitz outfit inspiration, the Chicago-based internet personality and influencer deleted the story and posted the same image with an apology written in text superimposed over it.

“Hi everyone,” she began apologetically. “I am so sorry for the pain I caused you by sharing the story of my packing slips. I understand how frivolous the label was that day given the trip we are on.”

She continued: “I understand how burdensome it is to visit Auschwitz and have been planning accordingly since we added the visit to that place to our travel plans. Again, I am very sorry and I removed it as soon as I understood the gravity of the mistake I made.”

“I didn’t have any bad intentions,” he added. “And I hope you can understand that.”

For her upcoming trip to Poland, Redman will be traveling with her boyfriend of over 2 years, her partner Bachelor franchise alumnus Chris Bukowski.

The 35-year-old first appeared in the eighth season of High school in 2012 and has appeared on five different seasons across all of Bachelor Nation's shows, leading him to win the award for contestant with the most appearances. Meanwhile, Redman last appeared on season 25 of The Bachelor in 2021, and later, in the seventh season of Single in Paradise.
