Matt Leblanc was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, but his appearance is causing concern among the cast of Friends, who are worried about his well-being.
It's hard to believe that it's been 30 years since Friends first aired on our TV screens, bringing joy to millions with its iconic characters played by Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc. However, Matthew's tragic passing in 2023 has deeply affected his former co-stars, especially Matt, who has rarely appeared in public. However, recently, he was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, but his untidy appearance has raised concerns among friends and colleagues who are worried about his well-being. According to sources, his close friends believe that he has lost his spark and no longer feels worthy of their company, but they hope to get him back.
Speaking to Intouch Weekly, the source shared: “No one is shaming Matt for his body or accusing him of any inappropriate lifestyle, that's not what's happening here. However, what's worrying for Jen [Aniston] “The thing about him and the whole Central Perk team is that he's so reclusive now that we barely hear from him from one month to the next. He's been in contact with us since Matthew Perry's tragic passing, but other than that, he's just been kind of shut away doing his own thing with no real interest in socialising. It's really sad for everyone to see.”
The source added that Matt LeBlanc was a happy and lively person, but now he finds it difficult to be with his friends. It's clear that his self-esteem has taken a hit and his appearance shows that he hasn't taken care of himself. Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox want to help him reconnect with them and put a smile on his face. They understand, especially after the recent loss, how important and fragile life can be.
After Matthew Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home, Matt LeBlanc was the first Friends cast member to pay tribute to his best friend. Sharing a series of photos from the show, the actor wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. The times we spent together are honestly among my favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Ever. Spread your wings and fly bro, you are finally free. Much love. And I guess you get to keep the $20 you owe me.”
To celebrate Friends' 30th anniversary, a contest called Fast Friends has been announced, according to Variety. The upcoming show will be filmed at The Friends Experience in New York. Meanwhile, die-hard fans will have the chance to show off their knowledge through various questions, riddles, and fun challenges.
