'F1' | Anatomy of a scene

Joseph Kosinski tells a sequence of his film, starring Brad Pitt.

My name is Joseph Kosinski and I am the director of “F1”. “On the return one and there are three cars leaving!” In this sequence in the Hungarian Grand Prix, we see Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, implement their own strategy without telling the rest of their team. So, this sequence, there are a couple of different filming techniques that we use here. We had modified the follow -up cameras used for formula one to capture the material in a very high quality 4K format. We also had our own cameras mounted in our career cars, and then we had a camera developed by Apple that entered the capsule behind the true head of Formula One drivers. Then, in this scene, you can see that the two forces come together. The team director played by Kim Bodnia. “What happens to the car?” “The boy sitting on him.” “You're crazy?” “We need hard tires.” He just wants to continue with the plan that everyone discussed and Sonny Hayes entering with their own plan. “Make it go.” “As?” “Do you think I don't know my tires?” “I was mechanical.” “Five championship titles, my naked hands.” And it is this great scene between Brad Pitt and Kim Bodnia. “Give your tires.”
