Culinary entrepreneurs awarded in important gastronomic content creation program

The MAGGI Apna Food Business programme underlines the brand's commitment to supporting culinary talent and fostering innovation in the food industry.

MAGGI has proudly announced the winners of the second edition of MAGGI Apna Food Business, a programme designed to equip aspiring culinary content creators with the skills and knowledge to create and monetise their own food channels. This year’s edition reached over 20 million aspiring culinary content creators and provided over 50,000 participants with the experience needed to start their own online food channels.

After two intense months of training with some of India’s most prominent food influencers including Kabita Singh (KabitasKitchen), Madhura Bachal (MadhurasRecipe), Teja Paruchuri (Vismai Foods) and Tanhisikha Mukherjee (Tanhir Paakshala) along with experts from YouTube and META, 10 deserving winners were awarded Rs. 5 Lakhs each in seed capital to build their content businesses. The distinguished food entrepreneurs who made it to the coveted list are Sophia Machado, Shreya Rao, Trashika Dsena, Ashneet Kaur Anand and Sheetal Pednekar from Mumbai; Priyanka Kundu Biswas from Kolkata; Shailaja Nair from Trivandrum; Pinky Daswani from Pune; Vandana Jain from Gurugram; and Benisha Martin from Mumbai/Hyderabad.

Priyanka Kundu Biswas from Kolkata expressed her gratitude and excitement, “Apna Food Business was a game changer for me, allowing me to turn my culinary passion into a thriving venture. The expert guidance and valuable insights from the initiative helped me hone my skills and connect with a wider audience. With Apna Food Business, I discovered a supportive community and the confidence to pursue my dreams. It is a journey that has not only transformed my business but also my life. Apna Food Business has ignited a flame within me and I am eager to share my passion with the world, one recipe at a time.”

The MAGGI Apna Food Business initiative, a part of the Desh Ke Liye 2 Minute campaign, continues to be an ideal platform to nurture the talent of budding culinary content creators.
