(Louis Vuitton)

Taylor Swift's sky may be opalite, but the starry blue tones of the new jewelry from Louis Vuitton's Color Blossom collection belong to sodalite. Rarely used in jewelry, the dark navy blue of sodalite adds an unexpected layer of depth to Color Blossom's existing line of luminous gemstones. Gold sun and star motifs highlight the gem's night sky color, while classic floral designs celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Louis Vuitton monogram. Margesherwood X Peanuts

Margesherwood X Peanuts

The Margesherwood X Peanuts collaboration features instantly recognizable motifs.

(Marge Sherwood)

Love is known to be in the air this time of year, apparently even for cartoon characters. This enduring love is illustrated (literally) in the Margesherwood X Peanuts collaboration. Inspired by the heart-pounding love letters Sally writes to Linus, the designs feature instantly recognizable motifs that combine the charm of Peanuts with the refined silhouettes of Margesherwood. The zigzag of that famous yellow shirt winkingly adorns a crescent-shaped baguette, while the black stripes of Linus's red shirt wrap around a slouchy bag. For true lovers and lovers, there's even a little bum emblazoned with Sally's nickname for Linus: “FOR MY SWEET BABBOO.” Now available. margesherwood.com

“Diary of a Fly” by Ryan Preciado at Hollyhock House features Oaxacan woven textiles.

(Roman Koval)

Ryan Preciado’s new installation adapted to Hollyhock House’s site, “Diary of a Fly,” is titled after a late 1930s musical composition by Béla Bartók that mimics the frenetic pace of a fly, an apt name as his show reconceptualizes the experience of the spring plague fluttering around a house. However, rather than hovering over overripe fruit or stalking a long-neglected trash can, viewers are invited to gaze at Preciado's woven Oaxacan textiles and brightly colored sculptures situated in the city's only UNESCO World Heritage site. Open until April 25. 4800 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles. hollyhockhouse.org

Verónica Fernández in Anat Ebgi

“Prey” by Verónica Fernández filters childhood memories through experience and emotion.

(Veronica Fernandez)

In the figurative paintings of Verónica Fernández's first solo exhibition, “Prey,” the artist's childhood is remembered through dreamlike and fantastic scenes, with memories filtered through experience and emotion. Many of his works place a child at the center of the scene among family, friends and caregivers, who often appear as shadows at the edges of the paintings. As a child, Fernández endured periods of homelessness. But rather than depicting a childhood of adversity, her paintings empower the children within them to claim their own space, imbuing their memories with strength and light. Open until April 4. 6150 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. anatebgi.com

Dior's J'Adore Intense captures the scent of solar flowers with Rihanna as muse.

(J'Adore)

Florals for spring can be innovative, especially when created with none other than Rihanna as a muse. Dior's J'Adore Intense captures the scent of solar flowers (jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose, violet) just before they burst into fruit. The result is a warm, bold and addictive fragrance that exudes sensuality and femininity, right down to the curves of its characteristic gold and glass figure-eight amphora. In other words, it's Rihanna in a bottle. Available now. dior.com

Rocky's Matcha hosts Japanese tea ceremonies at an ensō-inspired teahouse by Oscar Tuazon in Morán Morán.

(New York Stadium)

The single, uninhibited brushstroke of ensō, the circular form of Zen art, serves as a record of a moment. Commissioned by Rocky's Matcha, Oscar Tuazon's “Circular House” in Morán Morán shares both the form of ensō and its call to mindfulness. In the artist's tea house, constructed of cardboard, wood, and tatami mats, architecture is inseparable from ritual: visitors will soon be able to participate in a Japanese tea ceremony within the installation, thus participating in a choreography of attention similar to the act of sliding an ink brush over a sheet of washi. Open until December 31. 641 N. Western Ave. Los Angeles. Subscribe to Rocky's newsletter for tea ceremony information. rockysmatcha.com and moranmorangallery.com
